Photon Torpedo The Akira Class carries 150 Photon Torpedoes in a standard complement. Able to fire from all three launchers at once, they are not only effective for clearing out debris, they are the weapon of choice for faster-than-light battles. The standard photon torpedo has been in use now for over 100 years, and although their design has changed very little, their targeting systems have. The detonation is caused by a matter/antimatter reaction. They carry a standard load of 50% matter (slush deuterium ions) and 50% antimatter (antiprotons). The resulting reaction can result in varying degrees of damage to starships. The photon torpedoes do have a drawback: they must be loaded and primed before they can be fired, and a mishap during this can result in an explosion that can cause significant damage to the attacking vessel.

Launchers: 3
Max range: 3,000,000 km
Torpedo bay capacity: 12 torpedoes
Explosive mass: 2kg matter/antimatter mix
Max detonation yield: 2-to-the-7th megajoules

I think most starfleet ships, especially the torpedo-heavy Akira, had more than 150 photon torpedoes. I think it is more like 300 photon torpedoes.
